The Ukrainian Catholic Church (UCC) in the UK is a registered charity with the Charity Commission in England and Wales, under charity number 240088. The Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of the Holy Family of London was first registered on 9 July 1965 when it was still an Apostolic Exarchate for Ukrainian Catholics of the Byzantine rite. The stated aim of our charity is "the advancement of religion at the discretion of the bishop and his successors in title or the head of the Ukrainian Catholic Church in Great Britain." Originally erected as an Apostolic Exarchate on 10 June 1957 for England and Wales, on 12 May 1968 the territory was expanded to the whole of Great Britain (excluding Northern Ireland). The UCC was elevated to eparchial status on 18 January 2013. The faithful in the Eparchy number approximately 13,500. There are currently 16 priests serving 15 parishes and 20 mission points.
